I will be repeating my demonstration of painting at The Alaska House Art Gallery on Thursday, July 30, 2015, 2-4pm. Please join me. There is still construction closing the main Cushman Street approach, so use Noble or Lacey and park in the lot on 11th.

I will be at The Alaska House Art Gallery at 10th and Cushman in Fairbanks this coming Thursday, July 23, 2015, from 2-4pm to demonstrate my painting techniques. Please stop by and visit. There is construction on Cushman Street, but the entrance to the Gallery is open and there is free parking in their lot on 11th and Cushman.

Tammy Phillips at her Gallery
Last week, I stopped by the Phillips Studio & Gallery at 1222 Well Street in Fairbanks to visit with Tammy Phillips. She currently has an exhibit of Dan Kennedy’s paintings being displayed. She is open on Fridays from 11am-5pm.

These are a few of the Fairbanks Watercolor Society members at the Well Street Art Company last Sunday during intake of paintings for the annual Fairbanks Watercolor Society Exhibit. It opens this Friday, March 7, 2014, with a reception from 5-8pm. The show will hang for the month of March.

The UAF University Women’s Association Bazaar is the first weekend in November at a NEW location. It will be held November 2 & 3, 2013, from 10am-4pm each day at Pioneer Park (it was moved from UAF due to construction on campus). There is free parking at Pioneer Park. I will be selling my original watercolor greeting cards on Sunday, November 3. I am located at table #31, downstairs. Stop by and see my new cards.

Yesterday, I joined both local Fairbanks community members and tourists to go on the annual Equinox Guided Nature walk at Creamer’s Wildlife Refuge. It was a golden, sunny autumn day in Fairbanks. Perfect for collecting reference material for future paintings.

The Fairbanks Watercolor Society spent the 2013 Labor Day Retreat at Cathedral Creeks B&B near Tok, Alaska. Thanks to Nelda and Tom Nixon for discovering and arranging for our stay. Had a great time meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones.
Summer is a great time to visit The Alaska House Art Gallery. I still have paintings on consignment. Stop by and ask to see them.
